cable pay tv, and high-speed data communication services. We invite dynamic
and experienced professional people to join us for the position:

MANAGER - OSS/BSS SYSTEMS (WiMAX)


Reporting to: Head IT Services ( CTO-office)

A. CONTEXT

Purpose:

* The role cover the delivery of 'business services', cross functional
'releases' as well individual 'domains'. As the IT approach is essentially
a domain model the scope of the role includes:
o Customer Facing Domains: Web and On-Line, Retail Applications,
Call Centre, etc.
o Core Business Domains: CRM, BSS, Data Warehouse, Office IT, Rev'
Assurance, etc.
o Back End/Network Facing Domains: Roaming, Interconnect,
Provisioning, IN Platform, etc.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES

* Guiding system planning, solution design and development delivery
works in the team;
* Manage and coordinate all configuration and customization works
required in OSS, BSS and Billing Systems;
* Responsible for all system architecture and change requests in OSS and
BSS to support all features or functions required by various business
services in the company, such as broadband, voice, content services etc;
* Manage and Make Sure all Projects Implementation are Coordinated and
Within the Timelines & Budgets;
* Ensuring and managing system development lifecycle (SDLC) for
development or implementation works carried out by the team to meet KPI and
SLA defined that contribute to company business activities.
* Responsible for system or function error trouble-shooting if incident
involves system defects and escalated from technical support team.
* Making sure all OSS/BSS Systems are in the Highest Availability;
* Responsible to coordinate and define activities related to network
care;
* Responsible to define responsibilities and follow their performance;
* Builds and maintain relationships with peers, associates, and
representatives internal and external to the organization;
* Establish and Monitor process results M&P's, maintenance, routines
* Manage allocation of necessary resources (staff, tools, equipment,
etc.);
* Build team by guiding and developing subordinates.

C. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge:

* Experiences in system planning, solution evaluation, development
management skills and procedures.
* Telecommunications business process experiences and technical
operation knowledge especially in Billing System are very encouraging.
* Working experiences in development software tools such as C, Java,
UNIX Shell Script and etc. Database experience in Oracle is an added
advantage.
* A development and customization experience in OBRM / Portal Billing
System is very encouraging.
* Familiar with any of the following Network Management Systems (NMS)
and Performance Management Tools: Solarwinds, OPManager, HP OpenView, IBM
Netcool, IBM Proviso, CA Spectrum/E-Health, OSI NetExpert, EMC SMART,
Applications Manager, Netflow Traffic Analyzer, Network Configuration
Management.
* Familiar with IP v4/v6, DNS/DHCP, AAA, Proxy and Firewall
Configuration.
* Exposed to any of the following Management Protocol: SNMP, MIB, OID,
CORBA, JMS/XML, Q3, SOAP, TL1.
* Technical Background in IT / Telecommunication's 2G / 3G / 4G / WIFI /
WIMAX Technologies are added advantages and will be given priorities
* Ability to work under pressure and driven by results, consistently
demonstrate initiative.
* Strong focus on details with the ability to organize and prioritize
works in an effective manner.
* Possess high level of analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving
skills (able to isolate problems in a complex environment).
* Excellent communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills
and presentation skills.

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate
Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering
(Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or
equivalent.
* Years of experience : 6-8 Years Experiences in Operations Systems and
Support (OSS)
* Familiar with NOC Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance
Indicators (KPI) as well as others NOC Terminology i.e. KQI, KCI, MTTR,
MTTE, FCR and Permanent Fix.
